The BWTools Cropper utilizes HTML5 2D Canvas matrix rendering combined with high-precision bicubic resamplers (imageSmoothingQuality = 'high') to sample pixels from the uncompressed source bitmap without sub-pixel blurring.
Alpha Channel & Memory Safety
When generating JPEG exports, the canvas automatically rasterises an opaque pure white fill beneath any transparent alpha layers to eliminate unsightly black edge rendering. Object URL pointers are automatically recycled on reset to prevent memory leaks during extended editing sessions.
